Performance Framework Overview
The Performance Framework helps you identify different ways to respond to the cycle of organisational needs. Combined with the Performance Panel, it enables conversations and actions that match where an organisation, group or individual is at.
The four focus areas correspond to priority processes.
Focus and Direction is about setting priorities for the organisation. It is strongly linked to creating value and aligning resources and activities.
Stability and Renewal addresses the different conditions an organisation can find itself in. The decisions and actions required for periods of continuing success are different to what is required during periods of realignment, disruption or downturns.
Norms and Practices make up most of what has to be done in organisational life on a daily basis. It helps you address the assumptions, values, processes and behaviours that can lift your organisation or drag it down.
Track and Review is about protecting your focus, keeping it on areas that matter. It looks at the long term targets as well as the day to day priorities to track.
All of these make up an ongoing cycle in organisational life. Norms and Practices make up the day to day cycle that builds wellbeing and productivity.
